Here are 4 simple things you can do to start your day in a conscious way, that will give you greater potential to improve the quality of the day ahead.
1. Conscious breathing
When you first wake up take 7 x deep breaths. Inhale deeply in through your nose and exhale out through your mouth. This process stimulates your lymphatic system to work more efficiently and is also beneficial for the immune system.
If you are pressed for time even a few deep breaths will be beneficial for you. On the other hand if you have an extra 5 minutes to spare, sit upright, close your eyes and continue the breathing exercise. It’s a great way to get you into a meditative state. If your mind wanders, (which quite often it will), just focus your thoughts on your breathing. This is a wonderful way to start the day.
2. Infuse your body with Source energy
Source energy supports, sustains, nurtures and grounds. It is pure positive energy and it is above, below, and to the sides of us.
Sit upright with your soles of your feet on the floor. Visualise in your mind a beautiful, golden coloured energy deep in the centre of Gaia – mother earth. Draw source energy up into your feet, up into both legs, into your thighs, pelvic area, solar plexus (abdominal area), chest area, up into the shoulders down both arms and into both hands.
Continue to visualise it coming up the hands, into the arms, shoulders, neck and head. Imagining it circulating around the head, then coming out through the crown chakra (top of the head) and circulating around your body - visualising a beautiful golden light.
Now expand this golden light to the length of your arms extended. You may choose to expand it even further if you desire (around the suburb you live in). The infusing of energy lasts for 12 hours. Renew it at night when you go to sleep. Then repeat in the morning and so forth.
3. The practice of gratitude
Allow yourself to find 3 x things in your life right now that you are grateful for. An empowering way to start is by giving gratitude for being YOU. You are a miracle gift of life. You are a marvellous creation of the universe. Yes you are. We all are.
When you give appreciation and gratitude, you solicit more to be appreciative and grateful for. It is law, universal law called the law of attraction, which states that which is given emotion unto is created. In addition, by giving gratitude you raise your vibration, also known as frequency. Appreciation and gratitude are high vibrational frequencies.
4. Pre-pave your day
Mentally plan your ideal day, having everything go like clockwork and working in your favour. If you’re travelling somewhere you might pre-pave a peaceful, safe, happy journey, arriving early and finding the perfect car spot. It might be pre-paving exactly how you want a meeting to go.
Be specific with your intentions and watch the difference it makes when you have intended a specific set of outcomes as opposed to allowing things to unfold naturally. The difference is remarkable.
